Let's pray for each other!

i have an idea. i have read a couple of posts where mamas have requested prayer for their unborn babies. in this thread, if you will post your name and your particular prayer request, i will commit to praying for each of you every day for one week during my prayer time. then, next week (if i can keep on the ball!) i will post a thread for new requests - your request may always be the same, "keep my baby healthy". but one week you may have a particular problem you would like prayed about. i.e., "my dd has been waking a lot and i am exhausted - i need patience and strength." this way, every week, you have your particular concern addressed in prayer at least once a day by me.

now, anyone else who would like to pray also, please let me know in this thread when you post your request. then, i forget how many mamas are actually here, but each of us will have several mamas praying for us and our babies every day.

Wow, I'm really excited that there are some other Christians here!

My prayer request is that God will lead us to the right decision regarding choosing a homebirth with direct entry midwife, a birth center (which is 2 hrs away, and that could be an issue with short labor), or other. I'm stressing over financial issues right now and need peace that God is going to provide.

Like Dana, i also need God's guidance in where to birth the baby.

gracie was born in a hospital (naturally and all, but still a hospital) and we are going to look at at freestanding birth center next week. my dh is being supportive but i know he is thinking, "why can't we just go back where we went last time?" (they were very supportive of natural birth, but just did some "hospital things" i would like to avoid this time, kwim??)

just pray that God would be clear and that kyle would fall in love with the center if that's where i am to birth. thanks!

p.s. let's just always tack on a "keep the baby safe and healthy" to every prayer for each other.
