the white dog stays in most of the time (since I called the landlord about the dogs being chained and barking all night)...

I'm going to call A.C again...the vax issue is up to them.

no, Rabies vaxes are state laws & you you have right to know if the dogs around you have this mandatory vax....
AC SHOULD be asking them for proof & these can let you know. Some states will confiscate the animal, others will give them a citation if proof is not provided

i dont vax my dog so I'm going to get into it..I'm not into calling the authorities on people unless I have dire cause to do so.

This dog is being ABUSED. You bet I'd call. I hope you can help this poor guy out.

good grief ????????? do you want ways to help this dog??
I don't vax either but you gotta know how to play the game & the buzz words to get ACs attention .
what do you want then for the dog? no authorities???
i'm sorry but i'm missing your point?
when i go into someones yard to "help" a dog, i fully know i'm trespassing & am prepared to be cited or go to jail.

I've been inches away from being arrested (long b/f i knew dh) & was prepared to go but PD weighed that /i was helping an animal in dire need & the owners crimes outweighed mine.

I've been physically assaulted by meth/crack addicts saving their Pit from the beatings it endured - they were convicted but...

I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS FOR ANYONE b/c it can backfire.
I knew my state's laws implicidly.

short of trespassing, the authorites are all you have to help you - or sit & watch a dog deteriorate.
sorry to sound gruff but you post here about the neglect & some us are really quite fevered over this stuff.

if I didnt care about the dog, I wouldnt have posted here...I dont go calling the cops on people unless there is no other option.

I did call animal control, they came out that one time and the neighbor got the trash cleaned up that evening...the next day they had a dog house out there and moved the dog under the tree, I always see his food and water bowls there now and he looks healthier.

calling once was all that was needed, they realized something needed to be changed themselves with the minimum of authority involvement which is what I was hoping for.
