Oh yes!! I'm right there with ya'! I am usually a night person and fall asleep between 12 and 1 am. Now I'm usually in bed by 8 pm and asleep by 9. I usually beat my kids to sleep. I've been napping (for about 20 minutes) each day too. Thank goodness for tv for the older ones!!

Usually right before I go to sleep I get hungry and I'll send dh out for something or other. He comes home and I'm asleep!! LOL

I have just low grade fatigue all the time and I'm 6w4d today. It's nothing unbearable but I miss feeling peppy. Frankly, I'm overjoyed that full-blown nausea hasn't shown yet so the tiredness is easy to take.

Yeah, and I'm loving it. I fall asleep with DS around 7 but then I wake up at 5am ready to go...annoying! 3pm is the dead zone too...almost fell asleep driving yesterday! And I'm not even 5 weeks yet, only 4w5d

But I was like this when pregnant with DS too and NOT like this with my m/c last summer so I'm taking it as a good sign

I am totally exhausted! I have been an insomniac for years but now I'm falling sleep by 10 pm and I'm out cold as soon as my head hits the pillow. it normally takes me 45-90 minutes to fall asleep!

Add me to the wiped out list.

It hit me yesterday. But maybe it was just the swimming I did....

I'm definitely exhausted...so hard to peel myself off the chair/sofa/bed! Yesterday I napped 2 hours and slept 9+. It felt just about right.

Me too! I took a 3 hour nap yesterday with DD #4; the others were resting too with DH, and I still went to sleep with no problem around 11:00 p.m. Waking up this morning wasn't the easiest either... :LOL

I've been tired and running out of energy quickly for the past 2 weeks, but today I feel like I am absolutely running on empty. I was exhausted before I even got out of bed this morning...got up and got breakfast for the kids, then got back into bed and slept another hour or so. Then I had to go to the grocery store (would not have even attempted it except we were totally out of milk and needed a few more things as well). I felt like I could barely walk around the store, and then when we got home I nearly felt like crying thinking about getting out of the car an unloading the groceries! Got the bags inside, got the kids some lunch, ate what I could stand to eat myself, and went back to bed. Nearly 3 hours later now and I just got up, and still feel awful. While I was lying down this afternoon I kept thinking how nice it would be to just jump right ahead to about 14 weeks... :LOL

I really, really hope that this lets up soon - my poor kids! It's all I can do just to get up and pop a video in for them!

Dana, so many of us (and those first-trimester mamas before us) are living by the tv/video, too! It won't last forever. We will feel better in a couple months.

Before being pregnant, I would never have believed that early pregnancy can make you need 12+ hours sleep just to function at a very lethargic level the other 12 hours of the day. But boy do I believe it now. Plus now I know that when I get more tired, my nausea gets worse, so it's like a double whammy. Oh, make that a triple whammy since my beloved morning double latte is now gone...I swore I wasn't going to automatically cut out every single drop of caffeine, just cut back, but now I'm way too nauseous to even smell coffee! Guess nature showed me who's boss with the caffeine thing, LOL.

Yeah, coffee is always the first to go! Probably good, but waaaaah!

I thought I was doing fine until 2 days ago. I have been in bed at 8:30, as soon as I get dd to sleep and can hardly drag myself out of bed when she is up at 6! And even though she has not napped in 8 months or so I still find myself hoping maybe today she will. If only I had the energy to run her around enough that she would get tired. I just keep telling myself that tired is oh so much better than sick.

Yeah, that was the tipoff for me. I got up on Saturday morning and got a beautiful hot dark rich cup of coffee and I couldn't take a second sip! Then the low-grade queasiness started and that's why I went out and bought a test.

On Monday the exhaustion hit and all I can say is thank god dd still takes naps! We've taken 2+ hour naps each day this week and I'm already ready for today's (3 hours to go!). I just think it's funny that all these symptoms hit almost immediately after getting the test results. I wonder if I'd put off testing if maybe the symptoms would have waited too? yeah right! :LOL

I'm right there w/ya all! I can hardly keep my eyes open...and DH is complaining that HE is tired...grrrr!!!

I had been talking about my increased energy level so much that I think I jinxed myself :LOL because now I am so worn out! The heat makes it worse too and I don't even want to move. One I get up and get into my daily pattern of housework, cooking, laundry, etc., I feel ok, but boy it's hard to take that initial first step!

Add me to the down right exhausted list... I felt slightly more tired then usual at the end of each day last week but this week I'm yawning through out the day, having to head to bed by 9pm where as I used to be a night owl... and I'm waking up feeling tired... I can't stand the smell of coffee and tried drinking a weak cup of tea and well lets just say that wasn't such a great idea... my stomach told me off for about an hour...
