Just wanted to add: Being jealous of a woman feed ing the baby is futile-- it's just biology. Yeah, I'm mad I can't pee standing up but I've gotten used to that- it's biology.

I am actually the one of the two of us who is best at getting our daughter to sleep. My secret is to simply stay calm, keeping my breathing and heart beat calm and steady, no matter what dd's mood or energy level is. I sing to her in a soft even manner. I also stroke her hand as it seems to clam her.
