I love my snap press for making diapers, I've also used it on a sundress for a trade and it worked great. Today I used it to fix Z's hat: it has a strap with velcro that's supposed to keep it on, but he figured out how hard to pull to get it off in 2 min flat.
:
So today I ripped the velcro off, whipstitched the raw ends, and put snaps on instead. Now he can't get it off!
I was debating how to fix it because I was worried about him strangling if it gets stuck yet I wanted something he couldn't get off. I figure that right now it's more important to keep it on, at 10.5 mos he's not going to be outside alone to get into any scary strangle-possible situations.

And if you end up not using it as much as you had thought you would, you can sell it for its retail value.
