For those of you who use NFP or FAM, how long do you have to wait after birthing for it to be accurate??? I'll be 3wks pp tomorrow and am trying to figure out how long after I start charting is it reliable?

I teach FAM, and if you are not breastfeeding you can do it immediately, but its not going to be as accurate until you have your first period. Did you chart before?

Yep, I know how to chart, but I've never considered doing it so early. I don't have a nursling of my own and I'm not pumping for the baby's parents, so I'm guessing I'll get a period in the next couple weeks.
