a friend is on the bc pill.. she wason ortho-tri-cyclen low, and just switched over to seasonale.

my question is would the ormones in bc pills show up as a positive result in a pregnancy test?

the website for the test says that fertility drugs would show a false positive.

no hcg in bcp. my guess is she is preggo!

Yep, I'd say she's prego. There isn't any HCG in BC pills.

It happens...ask my DS.

When you switch birth control, you're supposed to use other contraceptives (condoms) for a couple of weeks, otherwise, chances are VERY good that she is pregnant.

BC is not fertility drugs (and it is only SPECIFIC drugs which would say on the label that they will cause false positives).
