You can get microfleece at a JoAnns! Just make sure it's a "micro" fleece. It can get pretty pricey, but it goes on sale sometimes

That's what I was going to say. You want to make liners for diapers to keep your babe's bum drier, right? It's my understanding that any kind of fleece works, at least it has for me. I've bought mine at JoAnn's, both their cheap fleece on clearance and their nice anti-pill microfleece, and they both work as a stay-dry layer. Wal-mart should have fleece too, at least a little even though it is off-season.

Now, if you are looking for Malden Mills or Windpro for a diaper cover or AIO outer, that is another story. You do have to get that online. HTH!

yup.. joanns has the best stuff. For the nicest kind, go for the microfleece that is $9.99 a yard regular price (for solids.. prints are like $12.99 I think). The cheaper stuff pills really badly .. it does work, it jut doesn't look nice. They had it on sale last week when i was there.. or, if you have a coupon it's as good a price as you'll find online.

Fyi

Joannes is having a sale this weekend Friday and Saturday. If you didnt get in the mail, they have flyers currently in the store for 50% off one item coupons- one for friday and one for saturday. Its a good deal especially since you only need a little bit, heck even half a yard would get you more then you need! HTHs.

Oh..and I recommend the microfleece not the regular or even the antipill stuff, its just too thick in my opinion. I think its usually over by the flannel.

I know some of us have issues with www.Wazoodle.com but they have the best prices i have found and the Micro fleece is ultra soft. I just bought 10 yards at her weekend sale for 3.59 a yard!

thanks, ya'll ... somehow, I totally forgot about this thread , out of sight out of mind I guess! Thanks for all the input, I'll definitely try out JoAnn's tomorrow.

I was originally going to line them so that while traveling (which we're about to do for 2 1/2 wks) I could toss the liner when ds has a bowel movement, but since I'll have lots left, I was wondering ... for stay-dry liners, do you cut a strip or more like the shape of the diaper - like a prefitted shape. Hope that makes sense, sorry my brain's not working well right now... it's the planning that's got me befuddled - I'm trying to fit all of our stuff in two bags!!!!!

Thanks ~ andrea
