Help! Pregnant with baby!

I also posted on the I'm pregnant board..may be a repeat for some of you!

I am a long time mothering subscriber, but new to the board. I am pregnant with my third (surprise) and my baby is only 10 months old. I had planned to nurse until at least 2 as I did my first, but am terrified I won't be able to. I know many of you have tandem BF, but it seems as though I have no milk, he nurses and nurses and I feel no let down. What can I do to help?

Also, how did you deal with the nipple pain?
I really don't want to wean (he is eating solids), but how do I know he is getting enough nutrition and what should I give him to be sure. Do I have to give him formula? Or are solids (oatmeal, fruit veggies etc.) enough? I feel as though I am depriving him of his birthrite. I am excited (who doesn't welcome baby blessings) but sad for my baby.

My girls are only 16m apart so I understand what you're going through right now.

I probably should have supplemented Leah's diet with some sort of milk or formula while I was pg, but I didn't. She got really skinny when I was pg and then she filled out by the time her sister was 2 weeks old.

I would never *plan* kids that close together- but these things aren't always planned, are they?

I don't think there is an overcoming difficulties board anymore but on one of the breastfeeding boards (try nursing past infancy) you should be able to find lots of mamas that have been through similar circumstances with good advice.

When is your baby due? Join us over in the due date clubs or I'm Pregnant -- there are many mamas here nursing while pg and maybe someone has some advice. And congrats on your pregnancy!
