seems like I've got an attachment 24/7 (but that is a good thing!! )(And am I the only one being asked daily "Have you put him down once yet???" haven't been able to finish typing up our birth story yet, but I wanted to congratulate everyone on their babes so far

It looks like my guy has a fussy belly, so I'm going through torture cutting the dairy (and looks like maybe soy too) out of my diet. I'm not sure what else is left to eat--no cheese, no milk chocolate (), no Ben and Jerry's ()....
Hopefully it'll just be a few months though, and then I can chow on phish food this summer

We go for our 2wk visit tomorrow. I just want to see how much Eoin has grown. He seems HUGE....

I haven't had a chance to write my birth story either but am still reeling from the beauty of my homebirth. Layne Elizabeth is 10 days old and weighing in at 10 lb 7 oz already (10 4 at birth) I am still amazed at my recovery ...my midwife was just so awesome --she really worked with compresses and arnica oil to keep me from tearing!! My battle scar is 1 hemmoroid! (ha) My milk is leaking all over the place. I had lots of challenges in my pregnancy but researched and just got the info together. I was GBS Postive -worked with herbs and hibiclens and came back negative. Also worked to build a healthy sac so my water didn't break until I was pushing-15 min before Layne was born!! I also used lots of hebs to strengthen my blood and have bleed very little. I'm just so excited about how healthy my baby and I both are just a week postpartum-I've learned so much and am thanksful for my "gentle" birth!! Hope everyone is doing well.

our baby came at home on st patrick's day. he's almost 2 weeks now and he went from 8lb 6 oz to 10 lbs according to the bathroom scale. i'm back to my pre-pregnant weight already (crazy). had what i would guess was a pretty easy labor tho it was 6 hours of early labor and 10 hours of transition followed by 20 minutes of pushing and a big healthy baby witha dent in his head.

Hi Ladies!! It has been forever since I've posted on the March Moms threads and it has been neat to come back and read how everyone is doing!!

Congratulations to all the new moms!!

Our little bundle arrived on his due date! March 12th at 10:48pm! Our 3rd homebirth and second waterbirth!! He weighed 7lb 11oz and was 19in long!

I posted our birth story over on the Homebirth forum- the thread titled (not too creatively) "Our Birth Story"...

Congratulations to all!!!

Ubertulip, your sense of humor so close to April is such a blessing!! I'm certain it will be soon... do keep us all posted!!
