About a month or so ago at work I was in the copy center and this snotty guy totally ran into my stomach and didn't even apologize. UGH! OK sorry I am not a "professor" ( I work at a college ) I thought it was totally rude

Ok I am Christian and when I hear about stuff like that happening I think that God is just laughing at a couple like that and saying...."who's God now?"
:LOL

It shocks me too how little concern people have for pg women when you are out shopping somewhere. They glare at me in the special spots for expecting women. They glare at me as it takes me a few minutes to back out of a spot because I just can't turn quite as far to look as I used to! Babies kinda inhibit rotation, y'know. When I'm walking through a crosswalk and someonein a car is waiting, I can just see them sighing at how long it is taking me. Sorry, it's a crossWALK not a crossrun.

Or the annoying people walking behind you in the crowded mall....sorry I HAVE to waddle back and forth. I know that means you can't get around me as fast but I just can't help it :LOL

What I am sick of is everyone telling me stories about people who thought they were having girls but ended up having boys. The m/w told me that the perinatalogist I went to is never wrong, and I saw a clear 4-d shot between the legs.

Why do people want to tell me this story so many times? I've had 4 diff people tell me the "They Thought It Was a Girl" story. Even if I do have a boy, it's not like I'm going to return him!

Someone else asked me "Did you gain a lot of weight?" I mean, how do I know what they think is a lot? The person who asked me must be 100 lbs overweight, so I'm sure her gauge is diff than mine.

Oh, well.

Anyway.
That's funnythat you mention karma because that's what I thought. My first thought was "lady you are just inviting bad karma for yourself". My second thought was "how pathetic does your life have to be that you get so angry with other people that you leave notes on their cars for really minor things." My 3rd thought was that I told myself I should be happy that I'm not her.

Despite all this I've thought about this incident at least 10 times this week since then and it still bugs me.

People really are just downright rude. I went to the grocery, parked in the expectant/new mama spot and I was unloading my cart when one of THOSE people pulled up to wait for my spot. Now, I already have 5 people in my house, I go to the grocery once every week, but we eat a lot of food...so it's gonna take a while to get it all into the van. So this B*tch actually HONKS! Um...lady, now I"m gonna take even longer. SO I put the last bag in my car, take the cart to the corral, and she is glaring at me - and this doesn't make me waddle faster. I get in, turn on the van and back out, and she starts to pull in, and notices the sign with the stork on it....I see her in my rearview giving me the finger as she backs out and starts racing through the lot for a spot to park in...geez! I can't imagine 1 - being in such a hurry, 2 - being so rude, or 3 - ever behaving like that towards anyone. This is terrible of me, but I hope someone door dinged her in the lot :LOL

Wow, that lady sounds even ruder than the lady I was dealing with. It is hard to wonder what is with some people. I can't imagine acting like that.

What a hooch!

OT: I just LOVE the pregnant lady spots they have at malls now. DH and I saw them a few months ago and didn't believe it when we parked there and had to ask about them when we went inside. :LOL

I feel like rude behavior toward me has increased since I have become noticeably pregnant. I really hate hearing how common it seems to be. I wish I could be more forgiving of these people, and think about how crappy their karma is because of it, and how miserable they must be, but I really just want them to have something crappy happen to them in return. I think it's a scary commentary on our society when there seem to be plenty of people who have absolutely no concern for such vulnerable people. What, do they shove babies out of strollers and run down little old ladies, too?
A short while back, a man followed me around the grocery store, calling my tattoo ugly, and telling me I was nasty.
I won't go for walks in town by myself anymore, because no one ever stops at the crosswalk, and it scares me.
I too have been honked at in the parking lot. I cringe whenever one of those "parking lot vultures" pulls up behind me to wait.
But, we have to brush these things off (or try really hard to) for the sake of our babies, who sense that abusive behavior of others.
