My birthday is a week from today and DH and I were sure that we would have a baby this week. I think the little stinker just wants to come on my birthday....which would be a pretty cool present.

Having had my last one on my birthday, I'll confirm that it is the best bday gift I could have ever received....and it lends itself to great bday parties. Last year, we had a petting zoo for MY 28th birthday (okay it wasn't for me...it was for a little someone's 3rd bday :LOL)

I read in one of my books, I think it was in "Prenatal Yoga" by Jeaninne Parvati, That when babies 'chose' (if you believe that babies make a choice in parents, birthdays, etc..) to be born on or very near a birthday of their parent, then that baby has a special connection and admiration for that particular parent, esp. if it's a boy chosing mom's b-day, or vice-versa. My baby is due during my dh's b-day, so I thought that was an interesting idea/belief.

VioletMommy-- That's interesting. I was born the day after my Dad's birthday, and I was his favorite (maybe being the only girl helped!).

With our first child, he was due 1 day before my birthday. He ended up coming out 4 days before my birthday which I considered a really cool present because I got to be un-pregnant and at home to enjoy my birthday.

This time baby is due right by DH and my wedding anniversary. I wonder what it would mean if he comes out on this day? He loves both of us? Or, he just wants to be sure there are birthday clowns at our romantic anniversary dinners?

I labored all day with my oldest on my birthday, he was born the day after. My sister had all her children close to her birthday, I just think February was "get busy" month for her and her dh.

Wow that is interesting! Maxi was born the day after DH's birthday. Though I guess that wouldnt count since I was induced (at 2 weeks overdue). I guess if he was choosing, he just wasnt going to be born :LOL

:LOL well I am helping the "choice" by always conceiving in the same month so they have no other "choice" but to be born right by my birthday....:LOL
