I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY YOUNGER MOMS THERE ARE OUT THERE BUT, IF ANY OF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BREASTFEEDING THEN PLEASE GO FOR IT. I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCES THERE EVER WAS. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH JOY I HAVE FOUND IN IT, I NEVER THOUGHT THAT BREASTFEEDING COULD PROVIDE MYSELF AND MY BABY WITH SO SO SO MANY BENIFITS. I FAVE ENJOYED BREASTFEEDING IN IT'S SELF SO MUCH THAT NOW IM FINISHING UP MY IBCLC ( LACTION DEGREE) PLEASE IF ANY ONE HAS ANY ?'S PLEASE E-MAIL ME AND THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS!!!!

Okay here it goes.....I was single mom w/ dd#1 untill she was 2. I was young, I had her a few months after my 20th b-day. I have been nursing now for a toal of 5 whole years come this April. I nursed dd#1 till she was 3 1/2 yrs and dd#2 is still nursing at 20 mos old. I tandem nursed them for about 6 months. I am so happy I decided to nurse, in my mind there was no other option.

I think the the #1 thing I have loved about nursing is getting to take a break (to actually stop, take a deep breath, and relax) and have some one on one time with the dd. It is also wonderful knowing that I am doing the purest form of what nature had intended us to do.

There are no plans for any other little ones running around, two is enough for me. (Besides I couldn't imagine nursing for 9 yrs straight by the time I would be done if we had one more.)

happy nursing!
