How many are getting US this week or next? - Page 2

Getting one July 2nd also.

We're not finding out, we prefer to be surprised. I had myself just about talked out of having it, and talked about it with the midwives and decided that it might be worth making sure things are okay. I expected to be nervous about getting bad news, but the peanut is moving lots, so now I'm just nervous about getting there on time.

The MWs recommended a guy who's about a hour drive away, who seems pretty good but if you're 10 minutes late cancels the appointment, because everybody has to drink and hold before hand.

I just hope we can still watch without finding anything out!

Mine is tomorrow!!!! I've been counting down the days; I'm so excited. We're definitely hoping to find out if it's a boy or a girl. Gonnabe, I didn't think you had to drink this far along; I was told not to drink anything extra and I'm pretty sure they are doing an abdominal.

This is our second (and hopefully last) ultrasound for this pregnancy.

Had mine this morning, and it's a girl!!!!!! I feel really proud of myself also, for charting because my dates and the measurement dates are dead-on!

I have to go back for another U/S in 3 weeks though because she couldn't see the heart arteries and stuff very well since the babe is so small and just wants to be able to note everything as normal. Everything else that she could see is A-ok.

Props to you mamas who can wait until you deliver to discover the sex. I am too impatient! :LOL

Had our ultrasound on Thrusday, and it's a BOY. You could have knocked us over with a feather when we found out, but after looking at the ultrasound it's pretty undeniable. Either we're having a girl with an extra leg, or it's a boy. Which goes totally against everything that we heard about having sex at a certian time relative to ovulation to have a girl or a boy.

We're totally excited, but definately stil adjusting, and having an AWFUL time picking a name!

Mine's on the 12th. We're not finding out the gender but geeeeeez I sometimes secretly wish I could somehow magically know how to read an ultrasound & get an "accidental" peek so that I'll know if my intense feelings that this is a girl are true! :LOL I keep buying pink things!!! My dd keeps reminding me, "Um mom, are you going to make the baby wear that if it's a BOY?" And I think, "Oh yeah, I guess it COULD be a boy". Maybe I should be sure I have enough gender nuetral things.Haha! I swear though, I picture myself laughing so hard with shock if it comes out a boy. I'll be just as happy of course, but I just don't feel ANYthing but girl vibes!

Have fun at all your ultrasounds!

I finally got mine scheduled for this Friday, the 8th. Our maternity hospital doesn't reveal gender, but I'm over 35 so I have to go to what I refer to as the "geriatric mama" clinic, where they do in-depth u/s and are actually much nicer to the mamas. They do reveal gender there, but we're not finding out. We really liked having the surprise with DD. Part of me would kind of like to know, in the same way that I like to sneak a peak at Christmas gifts, but then I'd just wish I'd waited.

Mine is tomorrow. Our hospital will NOT tell- the senior ob/gyn consultant has issues with medical equipment being routinely used for non-essential purposes (honestly. Same hospital that routinely uses remote fetal monitoring and delivers nearly a quarter of babies by knife. Makes you laugh, doesn't it?) BUT the sonographers will quite happily show, normally, and let you draw your own conclusions.

Oh, now that is funny. Equipment being used for non essential purposes? And they don't see the irony of that?
