(Be warned-- may be TMI!) Today I noticed I had some cervical mucous that was yellow-tinged, but had the consistancy of egg whites, maybe a little thicker, but definately the same consistancy as when I conceived my baby girl (11 months), just a slightly different color. I haven't had a period since October 2003 due to pregnancy and nursing.
We still nurse a lot, including all night and for comfort, but I go 5-6 hours during the day without nursing (while I'm at work I pump twice, aiming for 5-6 hours between pump sessions). Women in my family generally regain their fertility when nursing is only for naps/bedtime or when they wean, which we definately aren't anywhere close to weaning. I'm hoping to be BF still when I get pregnant and hopefully tandem nurse, and I probably want to start TTC in about 2 months, so my babes will be somewhere around 2 years apart.
Does this sound like my fertility is returning? Or is it wishful thinking?

Thats what mine gets like when I ovulate. < usually get a little "frisky"
