I've run across a lot of Tragically Hip fans here at MDC - so I thought we could have a little fun.

Dh and I got into them when Trouble at the Henhouse came out. Within two months dh had purchased all their albums (used). At 1st I couldn't get into it, I thought Gord Downie couldn't sing. Then I lisened to Fully Completely, and literally could not remove it from the cd player. I was devoted. Same happened with the live album.
I am not Canadian, but we are into lots of Canadian music, and hockey, and used to get CBC on my BUD (big ugly dish). We have seen them 4 x, 3 here in Portland, and once at a tiny veterans hall in Eugene, OR. Way cool! I wish I could have gone to Toronto to the millennium shows, esp. the one with the Rheostatics.
