Today was my baby boy's 2nd birthday. He was my first homebirth and it just seems like yesterday that he was born. We had a wonderful day together baking a cake and just enjoying eachother's company.
I made a huge feast (roast chicken, mashed potatoes-his fave, steamed carrots, stuffing, and caesar salad). We have so much cake left and his party isn't until Sunday so we'll be having another cake then.
It's just amazing to think that he is going to be a big brother next month. Our life seems so complete with the 2 boys and I pray they adjust well to another little brother. I'm having a really reflective, emotional day. :*)
