So, I went in early because I was spotting, but today was my first official, non-emergency appointment. My midwife was awesome!! She asked if I wanted a quick US to take a peek and we did. Saw the heartbeat and everything!! My baby actually looks like a baby now and not a grain of rice like at 6 weeks! Then, she asked me when I wanted to come in to see her again. She is willing to see me as many times as I need to see her to reassure myself about this pregnancy. Usually I'm very hands off about going in, but I'm going back in again in 2 weeks just to make sure.
Oh - and I've lost 2 pounds. I never lose weight in the first trimester!!
