41w today

Thread Starter
Today I am 41 weeks.

I'm trying to relax but don't know how so now I'm stressed about not relaxing. I have an appointment already for induction at the hospital next Thursday if this baby does not come out before then -- I know, I know, 6 days left, that's a lot of time, but just having the deadline is both exciting and stressful at the same time. I wanted the baby to come when he/she was ready, not when the hospital was ready...

Just needed to speak. I'm done. Thanks for listening.

that's what we are here for - to listen and support you i am feeling the same way (40w4d) i am trying to keep relaxed and calm, but its hard. espesially with pressure from other people, and the roller coaster ride of emotions that is pregnancy. there are times i just want to cry, times i want to scream, times when im blissed out looking at my big tummy :LOL it's crazy, isn't it.

im so sorry you have the added stress of an induction date. that would certainly make it harder for me to relax too. can you refuse?

oh anatoily, sending you a big and some ~~~~ easy labor vibes ~~~~ your way.

This is such a roller coaster ride at the end - trying to trust your body but feeling that pressure from all sides.

There are several of us past our due dates here and a few others coming up quickly on theirs...feel free to post away whenever you need to vent or get support.

Davina, good idea about the Rescue Remedy. I'm going to get out my bottle and try it out when the next overwhelming feeling comes on...any minute now, no doubt.

Sending labor vibes to you, mama. I was 8 days "late".
My daughter was 10 days "late". Both of them decided to come out after I had to schedule an induction. It'll happen!

HI! I know how you feel, my 06-17 arrival is keeping me guessing too...

While having baby at home takes the pressure off of me to get baby to perform, I still wish this little one would pack up and move out...

I've taken to staying home, and not answering the phone, just to filter out well meaning but stress producing comments and suggestions.

We live in a smallish town, so everyone knows and asks my husband about baby when he goes to any of the stores... I'm glad he's the one fielding the questions!

Well, it has to be soon, I'm running out of room to eat and breathe! Hopefully this time next week we will have welcomed our new arrivals!!

The Lord bless you!

I am comforting myself by looking to August. The baby has to have been born by then!
