My first bad dream about the baby....

I dreamt that I woke up in hospital after a labour where I spent most of the time asleep, out of it and totally drugged. I went home, feeling totally fine and proud of my much smaller tummy. Even did some shopping on the way home.

Got home, got some sleep, and when I woke up both my dh and mum were there, looking very concerned. My dh was holding a piece of paper, and when I asked what it was he said it was the details of my miscarriage. I said 'what m/c - I've never had one.' Then he said: 'Yes, you just did. There is no baby. There never was a baby. You just had a belly full of blood'.

That is when I started crying and woke up.

Oh that's an awful dream - can't really say anything to that really - but it was just a dream. to you.
I'm sure it'll be better tonight.
Positive thoughts to you.

Oh I just hate weird pregnancy nightmares. Here's hoping for a great happy baby dream tonight.

that sucks! I had two bad ones a few nights ago...
one I was getting married, it was totally different than how my real wedding was, I was pregnant, and I was complaining because it was a Catholic church and I'm not Catholic. But my MIL, my Dad, and my Mom were all raised Catholic so I was joking that it's a good thing all of them were standing around so I'd know what to do. Then my Dad turns around and says "well you should still learn what to do in a Catholic church in case you have to be in one again." and I was like, "why would I have to be in one again?" and he opens his eyes all wide and says really mean "Well, in case you lose your baby!" and I said, whimpering, "why would I lose my baby?" and then my grandmother (who is actually passed away) turns to him and sort of waves her hand at him like, don't say that, and a couple of other people were mad at him, but it was really scary and it woke me up.

Then another one I was in labor and things started going wrong, so my mom had to do a c-section on me (she's a doctor, but she's a pediatrician!!). And the baby was really malformed and skinny and unhealthy. very disturbing.

wow...that is a scary one ((((((((((( good dream vibes to you ))))))))))))))

the worst baby dreams i've had only had to do with not remembering labor/birth (i'm guessing due to drugs in a hospital?) and not being able to have my baby with me.

Oh Nordic, how horrible!!! I hope you can shake it. And smile, every time you feel that baby move....

I had a bunch last time, but mostly that the baby was fine, but I'd lose it, or forget it, or it'd be taken from me and I'd have to hunt it down. Ugh.

I think maybe I'm so stressed about labor this time that my dreams are like, why bother? :

Oh what a horrible dream!!! It's normal to have fears, but sometimes they come out in the weirdest (and most disturbing ways). I hate those dreams that seem soooo realistic ... they can really throw you off balance for a while. Here's hoping you have better dreams tonight.
