OK, I have been TTC for about a month or two. I got off the pill(Mercette-if it matters) in Dec/04 after being on the pill for about 12 years. At first my periods were regular, but my current cycle FF has me at 59 days! I have never had long periods, so this is very weird for me. I did spot slightly for 5 days when I was supposed to get my period about a month ago, but it was totally not a regular period for me. FF left the spotting on my current cycle and didn't change it to a new cycle-I am not quite sure why, other than it wasn't really a period. I have had one HPT that was neg, and a MD office neg test. For the past week I have had slight pain on my right side, which goes into my back from time to time. It is not painful, just crampy and can be uncomfortable during BD. My temps are really low 96s to low 97s.

I went to my regular MD and have a pending thyroid test because my low temps-not really any other symptoms. I am waiting on going to the OB/GYN because I don't really have any pain, just occasional discomfort. I was wondering if any one has gone through this, or has any possible answers for me. I'm afraid I'm having an anovulatory cycle, and I don't want to take meds for this. I'm open to herbal remedies, tho.

Also, has anyone heard anything about acupuncture for irregular cycles, or has anyone had any luck with it?

Sorry this is so long, I've had these concerns for a while, and I'm just totally confused! Thanks for letting me get it out!
