Need specific "theme" songs for this DVD I'm editing...

I'm having fun editing this DVD of our last trip to visit Mimi and Papa. Since the dialogue on most of it is less than thrilling (although there is the moment at the zoo when you can hear a woman yelling, "get over here, bubba!" which cracks me up every time), I'm going to put music behind parts of it.

So I'm looking for an upbeat travel song for the beginning, which shows us going to the airport and being on the plane. Everyone immediately says "Leaving on a Jet Plane," but that song is a little depressing.

Then there's a zoo segment, so I'm looking for something there, too.

Could be cool kids' songs or adult.

It's about ships, but try Cordelia's Dad and their cover of "Rollin' Down to Old Maui"

Then there's a zoo segment, so I'm looking for something there, too.

How about the ancient Simon and Garfunkel song, "At the Zoo"?

There is a Simon and Garfunkel song about the zoo. "Something tells me it's all happening at the zoo. I do believe it. I do believe it's true..."

Oops. Just noticed that it was already mentioned. I can add that I believe it's on the album "Bookends".

The Ramones' I Wanna Be Sedated is very peppy, and includes the words, "get me to the airport, put me on a plane! hurry hurry hurry before I go insane!"

Dunno if you're fancy enough to be able to chop out the rest of the (unrelated) lyrics, but it popped to mind...

and for the zoo, Raffi's song Joshua Giraffe popped up. It's more of a travel/adventure story, but if there are any giraffes in the shot... ?
