Book recommendations explaining evolution to a 7 year old?

My 7 year old is on this kick of saying things like "I wonder how hamsters and people and dogs *got here*. I know how I was born; I want to know how we all got here. How was the first person born?"

I've tried to explain evolution, but it's too confusing for her. I might not be the best at clearly explaining it, either! :LOL Is there a children's book that basically explains evolution?
