I saw this on Friday with the kids. It was pretty good and the kids absolutely loved it. Not as good as the very first one but better than some of the later ones. It stayed very close to the Herbie beginnings. It was just good clean fun.

The first 2 Herbies were with Dean Jones: Herbie the Love Bug and Herbie goes to Monte Carlo. The later 2: Herbie Rides Again and Herbie goes Bananas did not have Dean Jones in them. I prefer the 2 earlier ones with Dean Jones to the 2 later ones.

This new movie isn't quite as good as the first 2 but I like it better than the last 2. The kids love them all. What is nice about the new one is that the race car driver is a girl!
