Is this normal, or should she be getting some concept by now? It seems to go along with her odd social development, but I don't know if I expect too much. It's just all soooo intense. She can't seem to just accept something and move on, it becomes a big big deal
It just sounds like asynchronistic development that goes along with being gifted. She'll probably get it later.

IKWYM though about being embarrassed when you can't redirect them. Had a different/similar situation today where my older son just got overloaded with appointments of the day (so was I: 4 appointments in one day) and just went ballistic. The ECI coordinator there for my other son made some not too nice comments about it. And all I could think was: yeah, you handle it.

I have no clue what to do when he just goes crazy? Any thoughts---perhaps in a new thread...
