Don't ask me exactly what the dream entailed, but I dreamt that today you would go into labor!!!!!
Good luck!!!

Go Pepper Go!

I woke up, made the kids breakfast, did the dishes, and then thought: "Baby is still sleeping. Go sign on and see if Pepper is in labor." Since she's usually early to post, I'll just assume this is the day. And then apologize profusely if reading these kinds of posts is totally depressing to a gal who would be 7 days past due!

Oddly, I had a dream last night about Pepper being in labor, too. She was my next door neighbor in my dream, and she asked me to watch her kids when she went to the hospital. :LOL

Ok, why are we all dreaming of Pepper?!

interesting.

I was up half the night with low menstrual-ly cramping. Some of it was coming every 10 minutes...other times I slept for a couple hours at a time. I still have no show or any cervical change indications, though.

I want so badly for your dreams to come true!!!!!

Well, even if it isn't your day, at least it means we're all thinking of ya!

now i feel selfish for having had a dream that i was in labor...

Pepper,
Maybe your water will just break like mine did. I had no other symptoms of impending labor. No plug no holy bloody mucous lol!! Seemed like any "labor signs" never amounted to anything and I figured when the real thing happened I would truly truly know it (GUSH!!!).
And remember, you may not feel like today is the day but it might be. I went about my business all day long, even went to work... went to bed and then it happened. Matter of fact, I want to search the threads for the one about what we think will happen when our labor starts. I may have predicted it correctly for me...
Thinking of ALL of you!!! Because I you guys and I really thought I'd be there with ya right now!!!

I'm afraid I'll be somewhere that I'll have to drive home. Even though I don't plan on being TOO far away from home, I don't want to have to drive anywhere in labor.
I still can't believe how spot on Emmy's labor mirrored her envisioned labor...wild.

Well, I'm just chillin. Having some surges but paying them no mind. I re-read Raina's birth story and it does sound sort of similar except that she had mucous and show and I do not. I will probably be a July mom but that's ok! I'll have to be an honorary member of the June club, then...

I went back & read it, and it's seriously like I scripted it--only shorter! :LOL
Maybe it worked

Hi Pepper! You know, I never lost a huge glob of mucous or anything like that, it was just streaky mucous (sorry TMI!!) and once it was bloody, right before labor stalled. My midwife thinks the mucous was all a result of being checked. In fact, I was convinced that I wasn't in labor a number of times because of lack of mucous. Mostly, it was just kinda streaky brown and very small amounts. My mw thinks that my labor may have stopped and started because Abby needed to get into a better position. We did some sort of new-agey sounding therapy with Abby last week and now mw thinks Abby's arm was stuck and that is why she twisted and turned so much and why labor stopped and started. But, I had intense menstrual type cramping which is when I started to dialate and efface...

My guess is that it will be in the next 2-3 days, but thats just my guess, don't let it stress you out!

Abby was doing better with pooping but skipped yesterday and so far nothing today. I am trying to be more relaxed about it, but when she doesn't poop I know that we will have a really rough night ahead of us. Last night she was up crying from 9:30 to almost 1 a.m. Then she slept through the night - go figure! I am a milk machine. I am constantly soaked in breast milk, spit up, and baby pee! Baby is waking, no thanks to Emilia slamming everything she can around Abby :

That is just how I feel today. I'm seriously miserable with the pre-menstrual crampy feeling that I have today. It feels like the worlds worst and biggest period is coming on. And my contractions are getting incredibly intense. I'm nowhere near having to rock during them or anything but they are hurting really bad. Of course, they are coming like every 30 minutes or so.. :LOL so, big deal, right?!

I was in the kids room and had a monster surge and ds kept asking, "Mommy, what happens if someone fell into a HUGE volcano?" and then dd kept saying, "Mommy, what's inside plastic?" (we were playing legos) and it was pretty comical with me having such an intense contraction all I could do was just stare at them and breathe and wait til it stopped (which is why they kept repeating the questions over and over :LOL )

If only they would come more frequently I might take them seriously.

Anyway, thanks for giving me more info on your show. Karen didn't have any either...

~~~ poopy vibes ~~~ to baby Abby!
Just here to remind you that mine were a half hour/45 minutes apart for hours, then BLAMMO, 8 cm dilated. Felt just like you described, too.
sounds like the first few hours of my real labor... then an hour of tough contrax and a few pushes later, she was here.
