cellulite anyone???

I was sitting cross-legged on the floor today and looked down and was totally shocked to see, how shall I say it, lumpiness all over my thighs mostly on the inside and back and on the inside of my calves. Shocked because it's something completely brand new. I'm really not one given to cellulite as my legs are pretty skinny (I've always been called chicken legs) and I didn't notice it last pg, although I wore long pants b/c of the weather.
Maybe it's just water weight. I've noticed my feet feel like they swell up pretty easy these days.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has noticed the same.

I see the usual amount of cellulite on my thighs/hips, no more, no less. My guess is just that you may have just lost muscle over some period of time and gained some fat, which will results in your legs being the same size and therefore clothes fitting, but your legs being soft and mushy instead of firm. I'm afraid that cellulite is just fat and if you lose fat it will go, if not, it will stay.

I discovered some on my thighs I gain the most weight in my bottom and my legs (and of course my belly) when I am pg so it makes sense that some of it settles there. Don't worry -- it will go away or become less visible when the baby is born -- maybe not right away but with each of my girls I was able to slim back down over time. It could be that you are carrying differently this time or or because of the hot weather you are swelling a little. I sympathize!!

Yep, me too. I measured the same all around (except the belly) until about a week ago; now my booty and thighs are dimply, and measuring bigger. : I'm trying not to get worked up about it, but it certainly doesnt make me want to wear shorts and bathing suits in Hawaii. Oh well, I'm sure since I will be breastfeeding, it will burn off.

I had a similar horrible discovery this week. Cellulite is a common thing for pregnancy, oh joy.

Add me to the cellulite list. I had some before, mainly on butt and tops of thighs, but now (in my 20th week) I've got dimpling from the knees up. The thing is, I've only really grown in my belly. It's like my leg muscle has just melted into fat (almost) overnight. Not one of the more lovely transformations of pregnancy IMHO.

Oh well. DH and I just started on an after-work 2-mile evening walk routine. Hopefully this will help (if the heat doesn't keep me from actually doing it)!

Oh, I'm not worried about it... glad I'm not the only one though. (hee, hee) It's the swelling that bothers me the most because it's uncomfortable. Oh that and the burning hands and feet at night. I want to get out of bed and soak my hands and feet in ice water... but end up just laying there thinking aobut it instead because I'm so tired.
