Anyone else swelling up like a balloon?

Joy of joys, my hands and feet are swelling with the heat and humidity. With Justin, I had to soak my hands in ice water to remove my rings. Luckily, I'm not that swollen (yet) this time, and my ankles haven't started to swell yet either. I was thinking back to the 1st two, and I didn't swell at all with them, but then again I was not hugely pregnant with them during the hot summer months (winter and spring babies). I love this last month bloat in the face, too. I'm starting to feel a double chin.

I don't think I'll see my ankles until after this baby is born. my fingers are mostly just stiff, but the feet... well, it's not my most attractive look.

What do ya'll do for shoes with big swollen feet? My sandals are barely fitting and my feet are puffing out around the straps - yuck!

I'm down to one pair of shoes. (I can't even do flip-flops, since they leave horrible deep marks on the tops of my feet.) It was my stroke-of-genius purchase before the summer heated up: they're sandals made by Wolky (an Australian walking sandal), and they're infinitely adjustable with three different velcro straps. (plus, they're cute, which is always nice.) They were waaaaay pricey in the store, so I found them on ebay for 1/3 the price. I'm thinking about whether I can justify another pair in another color.

forgot to say I bought the flip flops 1 size larger.what relief!

I am barefoot most of the time..and not too swollen yet. just slightly on the real hot days (it's supposed to be 110 today btw! )

I have noticed lately that my feet and hands the joints feel really stiff. I am assuming it is from swelling. They don't look very puffy but I move around alot and try to stay inside in the afternoons. With my DD I was Very swollen.

Last pg I wound up wearing some of DH's shoes for a couple of weeks! Luckily I work at home.

warm baths and dandelion/nettle tea can help too.

If you're into acupuncture, one treatment can really help for about a week (then you need a retreatment).
