I just got my BFP this morning and am still a little in shock. Totally excited but really surprised that I'm pregnant already (I had my IUD removed on 5/12).

During my last pregnancy I was active on another very mainstream board. I still lurk there often but MDC is really more my style. I can't wait to "meet" other MDC mommas expecting in March 2006!

Ditto almost everything you wrote! This was our first cycle not preventing pregnancy, but knowing the timing, I'm REALLY surprised it happened this month. I've been on MDC since my first pregnancy, but I did due date boards on another site as well and I'm looking forward to not being seen as crazy for homebirthing and cloth diapering

Congrats to you! This is my first time posting on MDC, but I think I'll fit in well here :-) All my other pregnancies I've posted on AOL due-date boards. MDC is definately more my style - I use CD's, breastfeed, co-sleep etc. My dd who is 3, is still nursing. Anyone else have an older nursling and plan on continuing thru this pregnancy?

My son's only 15 months, but we're still nursing (at least 6 or more times a day plus nighttime) too. Mucking up that relationship is probably my #1 fear of being pregnant again.

....as for IUDs, I'm glad you had yours removed pre-pregnancy! With Ian and James (3 y.o. twins), they didn't wait until it was gone--I was 8 weeks pregnant when I had mine taken out!

Wow! Pregnant with an IUD and with twins!! Those were some determined babies!

I also got pregnant quickly and recently after I stopped bc pills.. I'm hoping all is safe w/ that. But very happy to have a new baby and to have found this forum!
