just for my own distraction...

well since nothing significant is happening with me in the laboring department, i've been name hunting again... i thought i'd post my list just for fun - tell me your opinions. (i'm not even asking dh at this point, since he'd just reinforce his latest pick anyway...) i've got somewhat of a celestial thing going on, with some exceptions - and a lot of the others are middle name possibilities - i was tooling around with a combination that means 'bright star', without just coming out and naming her 'bright star' :LOL
but like i said, nothing is concrete at all... just trying to put together a few possibilities that i like... feel free to have at it with suggestions - i could use some outside help.
*note: just assume our last name is 'brick' for flow purposes...
so here they are:

stella – star (greek)
willow
mirrin – cloud (australian)
sidra – star child (latin deriv.)
kalea – bright (hawaiian)
phedra – bright (greek)
niamh - bright (gaelic)
nelwynn/nelwin - bright (welsh)
zahirah – shining, luminous (arabic)
noelani – beautiful girl from heaven (hawaiian)
siran – beautiful (armenian)
surya
isaura – gentle breeze (greek)
arya – noble goddess (indian)
astrid

I love Stella!

All pretty names.

I like:

Stella
Willow
Kalea
Noelani

Some of the others would be forever mispronounced...and phedra remindes me of ephedra the drug.

It's funny, we've been recently re-thinking our girls name, too, which only reinforces to me that we are having a boy!

I really like Sidra.
And Astrid makes me think of astrix.
They are all really beautiful names though!

Here's my pick:
Sidra Noelani...

Mirrin jumped right out at me, but not sure what middle name I'd pick! They are all lovely names though!

Estrella might be a compromise to consider if Stella doesn't get picked - spanish for star?

I like Stella Kalea... but that ends up as ' star bright ' rather than bright star, if that matters
