Edgar Cayce anyone?

This is not to debate--(I know many will NOT agree with my personal beliefs)I have been reading books on /by him for 10 years now & have felt so right with many of his readings, especially those related to the BIble & Jesus.
Some tidbits-
Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, who was of an immaculate birth herself(Edgar Cayce described her as Jesus's twin soul)
Mary did have relations about 10 years later & had a son & a daughter-James & Jude.
Mary was chosen on the steps of the Essene Temple by the angel-she was leading the others on this particular day.
Names of incarnations of Jesus-Adam,Enoch,Melchizadek-"in the perfection".Then Joseph,Joshua,Jeshua,Jesus.(not a complete list)
Jesus is the only begotten son of God-The first BORN,the first to know flesh, the first to purify it.
Question-What about his second coming?
Answer-"the time no one knows.Even as He gave, not even the Son Himself.ONLY the Father. Not until his enemies--and the earth--are wholly in subjection to His will,His powers.
Question-Are we entering the period of preparation for His coming?
Answer- Entering the test period rather.

The Edgar Cayce Companion is my favorite book-lots of different subjects in one book-on vaccines, food & diet, osteopathy, karma, reincarnation, meditation, etc
There are transcripts of 14,000 readings he gave between 1901 & 1945 at the library in Virginia Beach-
www.Edgarcayce.org is the website for more info.

The thread on gnostic beliefs got me thinking.

My mother, who is a devout catholic, had alot of edgars books in her library at home and I started reading them at age 10! His books on medicine and ESP.......Ive always been amazed at his works. He was so ahead of his time. I should really reread them now that Im an adult and into all of those topics! My moms beliefs often contradicted her religious followings.......she saw a psychic regularly too.

Jazmommie-I remember we started talking about this on the reincarnation thread a while ago. I am *so* rusty with regard to Cayce. It's been about 15-20 years since I've read him. Might be time to revisit!

i have a very cool one-degree of separation story regarding edgar cayce...sort of...

One of my best friends is a very, very gifted intuit and is very, very plugged into the medium world. She is a loving and beautiful friend and there is always an adventure with her. One day I get in her car and she says, "come on we're going to see a lady in San Gabriel Valley". I was kind of surprised because this is not something we do often..drive to San Gabrial Valley (here in LA). Anyway, we go to this small, modest little house and there is this woman who is in her 80s. She is latino and she is in the middle of meeting with this woman. They say something to each other in spanish, hug and leave.

That's when my friend says, "This is Maria. She is a medium. Edgar Cayce's son used to go to her and he said she is the closest thing to his father that he had ever seen."

I had a reading with her. It was wild. She knew things that I didn't know about my boyfriend who is now my husband. She was really one of the most interesting people I have ever met.

One story she told after the reading was very interesting. About ten years earlier her daughter died of a stroke due to birth control pills. Anyway, she left two small children and Maria and her other daughter were terribly distraught at the loss. Maria was crying and crying and had been crying for about two weeks. When one night there was a knock on the door. She went to the door and a very, very lovely british man was at the door. He said, "Maria?" She said, "Yes." He said, "I have to give you a message from your daughter. She doesn't want you to cry any longer. She doesn't want you to be unhappy. She's in a better place and it was time for her to go."
Maria was shocked and she said, "Who are you, why do you know this." He said. "I've been in India for the last six month with Sai Baba. We have been meditating and channeling for some time and your daughter came to me and told me and Sai Baba and he told me I was to come to you on my way back to London." He then told her his name was Baron Rothschilde.

anyway, I saw her a couple of times. And sometimes my friend and I had such curious encounters with her that we almost weren't sure if she was alive. I know it sounds weird but it was just the most interesting thing I experienced and like I said, cayce's son said it was the closest thing to his dad he had seen. I can only imagine what that was like.

The health readings are what i read first -then the past life ideas then the Jesus /religious ideas then it all fell into place with me and came together -I am looking at 13 books in my living room on Jesus/Bible things alone .I have about 14 on astrology, end times, etc and 15 on health and eating.
I am on the second book in the Search for God series that was written in 1942 and that Edgar and a group of dedicated people researched and lived the principles--they could not move on to the next part till all were in tune with what they were doing--wow-that is dedication!
I will try to be helpful if anyone has a question.
Jennifer
