What was the VERY FIRST sign that you were pregnant? - Page 2

I couln't eat my favourite spicy foods, and coffee made me sick to my stomach.

My breasts turned into bags of pain.

And this time -- I think I am pregnant -- I got really queasy and have been nauseated every day. Super-smell, too.

constipation a week before AF was due lasting through first trimester....

: I've been pregnant three times. For me, the first sign is always an intense craving for dairy products, which normally I don't like much. Yeah, weird, I know. I've never heard anyone else claim that as an early pregnancy symptom. Dairy is the only food I can stomach in the first trimester.

Next is usually the gassiness; the tired-like-I'm-gonna-fall-asleep-standing feeling usually takes a few weeks to kick in.

Awful indigestion, all day, every day.

Nothing that I didn't get as part of my normal post-ovulatory cycle- tender breasts and nipples, so on.

But I also knew fairly soon; I was charting and also ttc.

I had very strange, curdled-milk like CM on about 6 dpo. And my CM never dried up. That was my first clue!

I tried to go for a run and I couldn't because it hurt my breasts too bad! I also was pretty crampy, I thought AF was coming for sure but it turns out that I'm pregnant!

Tender breasts, only wanted to eat hot vindaloo curry and smell sensitivity (I recall feeling sick when someone sat near me after having a cigarette).

First: slight darkening of the nipples made me go hmm...But I have PCOS, hadn't had a period in 6 months (no, wasn't that far along!), and a week-old negative pregnancy test by the time I got food poisoning--I thought--and went to the ER where they told me I was pregnant. And treated me like I was a complete idiot, because surely being six months "late" meant I was six months pregnant. It was more like six weeks pregnant.

Second...I just knew. I don't know how. I felt a sort of fullness in my uterus. That was officially diagnosed at the ER again because I went in with a severe pain in the region of my ovary, and the immediate assumption there is ectopic pregnancy. They didn't treat me like I was dumb that time, thankfully, because I'd actually had a period recently.

This one...horrible, horrible sickness that was only alleviated by eating, but I could only eat a little bit. Now, being that this is pretty much the exact same morning sickness I had both previous times, you'd think it'd have been a clue. :LOL But no, the girls were both sick so I thought I'd just caught what they had. Instead I caught what my husband had. It was actually very funny, my husband told me I was pregnant and I was like "No I'm not! In fact, let me take a pregnancy test and I'll prove it to...Oh."

Llyra-looking back, at the beginning of this pg I was craving milk, which isn't me at all!

Thought of one more...with my last, and now with this one, the animals treat me differently. Last pg (girl) the male cat was my best friend and wouldn't leave me alone. This pg (male), it's the female's turn to be all buddy-buddy!

With this one is was nausea on the way home from a weekend trip to my parents house.
With my first it was extra CM
and with my second it was pure intuition.

DS nursing behavior went haywire. I noticed he was just not content at the breast. For me I think it was a combination of change in taste and in volume. It was totally obvious. I immediately ran to get a pregnancy test (I don't even think I was late with AF)

My first sign was a +Hpt, but my first symptom was eggs tasting just wrong, wrong, wrong. Like super rotten.

Sore boobs.

Embarrassing, but with DD, I couldn't finish a cigarette. This time around, I think it was just general abdominal achiness or boobs.

First- I just knew from the moment we conceived.

Second- hpt because I couldn't trust my body after losing the first one.

Third- That wet panty feeling that sends you rushing to the nearest bathroom because AF must be early but in fact you are just juicy because, yup, you are pregnant.
