Money -vent!!

I'm posting because I'm frustrated and dh isn't home to fuss at and I knew you mamas can relate!!

Dh has been on travel for the last few weeks. Home some in between, but not available. I'm paying bills this morning and see a charge for $185 at Bass Pro Shops!! UGHHHH. Usually, I talk to him and let it roll off, but with #6 on the way, it's harder to be calm... KWIM???

This isn't an attempt to dh bash. I jsut happen to be the thrifty one. Grew up with a single mom and have worked from age 13 until I had kids. I'm very blessed to be able to stay at home with one income supporting us. Just trying to vent so I can be calmer when he walks in the door at some point tonite or tomorrow.

You're right to be upset, I do the same and this is only #3 for us. Everytime we spend $ on something frivilous I think "oh but we're going to have another baby soon..."

I understand. My mama urge is to spend any "extra" money on baby stuff so it's harder for me to be nonchalant about the little self-indulgent things that DH still wants to buy. He manages our money though, so I usually figure that if he is OK with spending it, we must have enough.
