Amy - that is awesome news about your mom!

As far as the swearing goes, after a few tales to us from friends who have older kids, we instituted a swear jar when Katie was 6 months old. Every swear is a quarter (2 now, if both kids are around). It has really curbed the swearing. The worst thing that has come out of Katie's mouth has been "stupid" and she once said "shut up". I attribute it to a lack of exposure.

lol, I just yelled at DH, "Hey, ANOTHER one of my friends is pregnant!!"

a moment of silence....then he says, "Oh yeah?"

I said, "yeah!"

and he's said nothing else, lol.

Maybe this will help sprinkle it around when he isn't looking :LOL I've known since Jesi was born that I wanted another one, but wanted to wait a little longer - now I need to get some weaning tips from y'all that have weaned because Jesi will not take too kindly to someone moving in on HER boobs!

Well, this is the second night in a row that Emily has been up past 10pm. : And Katie has been a pain getting to bed too. Ugh!

Oh, we went to the golden arches yesterday, so Emily could run off some energy, and she finally went up the tubes in the play area. She got to the very tippy top, ran around there for a while, then realized that I wasn't up there with her and totally freaked out! I ended up having to crawl up the damn tubes to get her! I was so sore this morning from the experience! I am just not meant to be up there.

well, I DID start taking pre-natals and folic acid last week. I told DH and he said, "uh, ok." I think he's just super-nervous about having another baby and not having a house to bring it home to, ykwim? i keep telling him, "if we get pg now, we'll have 38-42 weeks to buy a house," lol.

I'm nervous about getting pg again b/c I cant seem to find a hbmw in this area, and the one hospital that does deliver babies in this area is *VERY* mainstream, and that worries me.

and sherri, i knew you were getting pg again too, lol!! maybe this one will be a little man to help balance out the estrogen in your house, lol!

Well, I HAD to tell SOMEONE! I see my OB tomorrow, Mikayla will be in school but I'll have the little ones. Danielle will sit with the receptionist and draw pictures, and Jesi can still keep a secret so I'm not worried about her :LOL

That's what I'm thinking is going to happen - we'll see how it goes. Everyone says that my milk will dry up as I get closer, and it will change in taste/consistency so she may lose interest. As long as there is no discomfort for me, I'll probably keep nursing mainly because I don't want to deal with the fights she'll give me :LOL

At least now I have an excuse for my mood swings, being tired, not feeling good and being a grump in general :LOL

I want to join the club but dh is not ready. Of course, my MOTHER coming to live with us in our tiny house in a few weeks and her sleeping in the only extra bed (where we usually dtd), may delay things further. I wish dh would hurry up and get ready!

Liz ~ morning sickness? I feel for you! I don't know why they call it morning sickness - that stuff lasts all freaking day long for me!

I saw my OB today, I am 7 weeks along and due around March 1st. Now I need to get myself something to eat and try to convince Jessica that she wants a nap so I can get one too (not likely though)

Amy: Great news that you Mom is doing so well. You and Dh better get to it I wasn't exactly ready either, but ready or not, here comes.

Sherri: MORNING sickness? No I have all freakin day sickness.

We are due just a couple of days apart. I'm due 2/27 or thereabouts. I'm scheduled for an u/s in a couple of weeks to confirm that there is 1) only ONE baby and 2) that we are accurate about the timing.

We still aren't talking over here, and he is definitely past the napping stage. : He is just rearing to go until 9pm, then he passes out. He wakes up once for a diape change and rolls over and sleept for the rest of the night, in his bed in his room. I am amazed he is finally sleeping at night. I netter not jinx it, since he isn't sleeping during the day, while he is asleep at night is the only time I get some rest.

Hello again ...

I'm so sorry for you morning sickness stricken mamas. I was lucky with Henry and only had passing nausea and food aversions. I don't know how you do it. I have a friend due in late Jan/early Feb who has been hospitalized 3 times so far this preg (her third). I can't even imagine being that sick ... (knocking on wood now).

As for us ... since dh is in charge of the prevention of pregnancy, it is ultimately up to him to decide when. And since he's an insane man who insists on "covering up" ALL THE TIME, pregnancy is unlikely to occur even on an "oops" basis. I don't know. Maybe it's better given all the other things going on in our lives right now. But at the same time, once my mother moves in -- and as long as she's here -- I can basically assume a celibate period with zero chance of pregnancy. You'd think he'd want to have some fun before then ...

sage is doing well. she is a chatterbox and is really blooming into a very extroverted personality. its so cute!

my DH is also in charge of birth control, but we do the um...withdrawal method, lol. hey, its worked this long, lol. so I too must wait until he is ready, and he is really holding things up, lol.

and holy crap Sherri! I cant beleive you are so far along. You're already halfway thru the 1st tri!!!

ok, i'm off to find the police dpt phone number...the neighbors are BLARING their sound system out on the front porch and sage cant nap w/ all this noise. and I dont think the language is appropriate, either.
