Hey guys! Bet you thought I had fallen off the face of the earth!
Well after last monday's threat of induction, rhiannon decided to come on her own. In the early evening, I had what i thought were BH again. But they kept on. When they were waking me up at 12 something tuesday AM I decided to start tracking them. fairly regular, but not lasting very long, i called the midwife. she told me to come on down to the hospital and she would see if we had anythign to work with. long story short, checked in at 2:30 am, about 530 am i went into the jacuzzi tub which brought my contractions on like gangbusters. i went from 4cm to 8 cm in an hour. ouch... in fact it was way to fast and i ended up getting the epidural b/c i was really losing control. i'm not even going to get into the horror of the pushing stage... it was everything i didn't want. but my only goal at that moment was releasing rhiannon.
Rhiannon Morningstar was born at 1:02 P.M. on June 28, 2005 (the same day as her maternal great-grandmother who she will never know).
I will post pictures soon! this is the first day i have felt like getting on the computer... my tailbone has been giving me heck all week.
