10 DPO - Cramping - Spotting....

My period was to start today...and I think it did. This isn't little "drops" of spotting, but a little more. I am devasted...my temps are still up...I had a dip yesterday...and back up today. I am sure it's my period...I've never had implantation spotting with the other two pregnancies.

I am just absolutely devasted...this was my last chance to try for another seven months (it's a stupid scheduling thing...I'm in nursing school). I just want to crawl up in a ball and cry. I had a VERY negative PT yesterday...so I'm pretty sure it's my period.

So sorry to hear that AF found you. It's so early though - are you *sure* it's really AF? I am keeping my fingers crossed that it's not...

I really hope it's implantation bleeding! .
Remember, all pg's are different!

Are you sure it's AF? Isn't it a bit too close to O?

My temp is still up...and I am still spotting today...it is close to ovulation, but this is my normal AF time. UGH! I don't know...I had another negative PT today...some "tissue" in the spotting too.

BBMom,

Have you ever had your progesterone levels checked? Some people's luteal phase is just to short to sustain pregnancy without additional support (usually progestrone in some from). You might want to get that check, esp. if you typically have short luteal phases.

Good luck!!!

Another negative PT test today...my temp dropped to 98.1 (still above cover line)....I think it's time to throw in the towel on this one. But AF still hasn't started. Probably by Friday though.

: I'm surprised that you would be AF bleeding, because doesn't the progesterone prevent that? When I was on it a few cycles back, I didn't get AF until about 4 days after I stopped taking it!

How are you doing? Do you have your chart posted so we can take a look at it?

Well...I stopped taking it two days ago...but the spotting had started before that. I have also gained about 15lbs since starting the pills (last month...2nd cycle). I think I will look into a more natural alternative (cream maybe). I do feel better since taking it...but the weight gain is bothering me. It could very well be due to something else...but the weight started piling on after I started the pills...who knows?

How do I get a link to my chart from Fertility Friend?

You should ask your doc for a "natural" progesterone, to prevent weird side-effects like you are describing. Maybe call your doc and see if you should still be taking it. If it was implantation spotting, and you stopped the prog too early... I don't know, call your doctor.

To link FF chart, when you are in FF, click on "homepage", change whatever you want, then click "generate". Copy the link (it's in giant red letters) and paste it here.

What a pretty chart! You know, lots of women have bleeding when they are pregnant... and your temps are still high. 14 dpo is sometimes still too early for a positive HPT for some women.

Still negative PT test yesterday AM...and still spotting today. Not enough even to fill a panty liner...but still bothersome. I am not a spotter anyway...so this is unusual. We'll see...18DPO is when I had PLANNED on testing; however, I couldn't wait. I tested with both boys at 10DPO (EPTs) and I knew then. I am now using the aimstick type things and I'm getting nothing. Maybe I'm not using them right? LOL!

CD31 (and I have 28 day cycles normally)...but last month I went 32 days before I had AF...that's also the first month I started the progesterone.

Hmmmm...maybe I should continue on with the progesterone then?
