40 wk appt tonight....

So I am going in this evening for my 40 wk checkup. I called the MW desperately wanting accupuncture but she said she wants to see where I am before sending me off so I don't waste my money...makes sense.

So they are going to check me and see where I am and if I am dialated...which by golly I better be! :LOL

I am going to just tell her to strip my membranes and see if that starts anything.

I did have a cup of red raspberry leaf tea after dinner last night and then put some evening primrose oil on a tampon and put that in for an hour and a half and all it did was just make me crampy. I am still crampy today. Who knows. I think I am going to do a few more cups of the tea today.

Interested to see what the MW said - how dilated does she want you before she thinks the acupunture will work? I'm 1 cm, with a soft cervix that has a bit to go.

No baby yet. I just need to accept that I am one of those people that just does not have babies early.

She did a sweep. I was about 1cm dialated and very soft. We are going to sweep again tomorrow unless I go into labor before then. I don't think I will though.

I think we will talk acupuncture next week maybe if I am still pregnant.
