She's a Yankee Doodle Dandy!

...Yankee Doodle Do or Die.
A real live niece of her Uncle Sam
born on the fourth of July...

How wonderful that God was glorified in her birth!

I prayed for the last several weeks of my baby's birth that above all God would glorify Himself through her birth, and what characterized the entire experience above all is this very thing, from my prayer for God to have His way once my water broke (regardless of the kind of birth I would have or the health of me or my baby), to the early laboring with our pastor and his wife bringing hymnals to sing praises to our Maker, to later labor when my godly doula swayed with me singing, "Have Thine Own Way Lord" to transition when my prayer was "HELP ME GOD HELP ME," God was lifted up and praised and adored.

He was so gracious and merciful to me, and blessed me with the birth of my dreams (unmedicated, uncomplicated VBAC) and with the most beautiful, perfectly knitted together daughter.

Enjoy your sweet daughter!
