i was pushing in my dream last night

I was full-term in the dream - and so disappointed to wake up and realize it was still July! LOL

It was a VERY cool dream. Dh and I were alone in the room, but he was distracted with something. I was trying to be very quiet because I didn't want him to notice! lol (and call other people in the room)

I had a similar dream last month -- I woke up and all of a sudden pushed once and the baby crowned and came right out!! And I was disappointed because I didn't get to do all my labor things I wanted to do like walk or take a shower or get a massage from dh. :LOL I guess I have big plans this time!! Aren't dreams funny? And yeah, it's still July...we have plenty of time.

LOL... I dream a lot of labor but definitely NOT of pushing (the worst part IMO). Contrax one on top of another (thank you Pit) I can handle, the back labor I could handle but the pushing...ugh. I so hate the burn with pushing.
My labor dreams are of sitting in my jacuzzi while laboring!

I haven't had any labor dreams except one in early pregnancy. I was in the water, and there were other people in the room but not near me, I gave one, not very effortful push, and out the baby came, and I caught it, and put it on my chest.

Haven't had any nerves about birthing since.

I had a 'delivery' dream a few weeks ago. It's funny, I too had a quick 'push' and it was over, yet I was disappointed because I didn't get to do any of the things I had wanted to, too, deizjen. We must be planning similar births! :LOL

Last night I dreamt that I was nursing! It was weird, I was actually getting ready to pump but couldn't find the cone shaped part of the pump that goes on your breast. When I did, I put the pump together and put it on my boob. My entire nipple sloughed off a layer of skin (like a snake does!) and then when I pumped, milk started pouring out. Hopefully this means nursing will be successful for us this time!

I haven't been pushing yet, but I am pregnant in all of my dreams. I always think it's funny how our subconsciouses assimilate new physical information about us into our self-perceptions in our dreams. When I drastically cut my hair from 26" long to 1", I had long hair still in my dreams for months. That was 2 years ago, and I still sometimes have a ponytail or braids in my dreams! But the pregnancy thing was almost instantaneous.
