I go to a site called Celebrity Baby and they had a link to this photo of the Affleck/Garner wedding. I actually feel bad as neither of their parents were in attendance, I am wondering if this whole this was a fake out and they are having the real wedding elsewhere? I mean this two ppl are VERY close to their families and not even the parents are there? Seems fishy to me. She did look very pretty though

I am a celeb gossip addict : . I think its great that they just had a small ceremony. Besides it probably wouldn't have been a well kep secret if the press found out both of their families were meeting them there. This way they were able to suprise everyone and not get caught in the celeb wedding trap.

I find that some MDC mommas find it "beneath" them to discuss television or celebrity gossip. Lots of views, but only a few of us admit that we're semi-interested.

What about the freaking Tom Cruise and Brittney Spears threads? At least this is a couple that ppl can openly be happy for kwim? They are keeping to themselves and not as in your face as some others?

All right, I will admit I am one of those who has looked at this thread but not commented. I love happy celeb news and I love wedding stuff. I have to say, though, that I do not understand how more people are interested in Tom Cruise and Brittany Spears than a nice wedding. Those two are just weirdos and I try to avoid their news.

I havent been paying too much attention to the Ben and Jennifer Garner hoo ha, but I love Jennifer Garner. She seems like a really down to earth person and I like that she was a band geek in high school, makes her more relatable Ever since the Ben JLo thing though, I find Ben Affleck kinda annoying. Saw way too much of him in the media. So, I guess I gotta respect their trying to stay out of the limelight this time...The photo is nice, and they look cute and happy
As far as Tom Cruise goes, can anyone say ! He needs meds despite all his proselytizing (sp?) about the psychiatric profession. And what about Steven Spielberg? Poor guy sets out to make a movie he has dreamt of putting together and "golden boy" Cruise is kinda giving the whole thing a strange vibe.

There's no freak show element to Bennifer II, so they're pretty boring to discuss. I just wanted to see their wedding photos. I've been to Parrot Cay and wanted to see if I recognized where they did the ceremony.

I don't really 'get' her, though. I don't watch Alias, and after the overexposure of Ben&Matt I don't have much interest in him (especially after the Bennifer I debacle). They both seem like pretty normal people, though, so there's not too much to say. If she happens to be carrying Britney's twins, though...

Celeb gossip certainly isn't beneath me! When I need a break from the kids and life in general, I head to the bookstore and read those wonderful celeb mags! It's a great escape! As for their parents not being at the wedding...Dh and I are VERY close to our families, but we wanted it to be just us at our wedding. We got married in the courtyard of a B&B in New Orleans. We told our families that we were getting married, but we chose to just do it on our own. So, I don't think it's weird to not have the parents at the wedding.

I like Ben, but Jennifer annoys me. Breaking up with Noel (sp?) (Scott Foley) to hook up with Michael Vartran was not cool.
