I've run her head into things just carrying her in my arms.. probably more often than slinging her lately, but when she was tiny and just nursed all the time in the sling, I'd knock her head into the kitchen counter occasionally. She usually only cries now if she's already mad for some reason. Otherwise she just rubs it. It doesn't happen too often though.
She went through about two weeks of hitting her own head on things becuase she'd start a tantrum and forget she's not sitting on the floor where she can just throw herself down in her dramatic way. So she'd whip herself around and konk her head on something. It was happening a lot! Then that crabby phase ended so now its back to me being the one to bump her poor head.
