Truman's Birthstory

Thread Starter
here is the birthstory.... rather long... and I will add a pic link to this thread soonly (and update the subject when it is here).

Oh, just an update. Quickly since someone needs to be fed. LOL He is doing really well and breastfeeding is going soooo easy this time. I cannot say how relieved I am since I was really anxious about having problems again. He is really, really mellow and easy going and sleeping well at night. Is it possibly I am going to get TWO really easy going kiddos????? Boggles the mind!

The hg has gone away but not as much so as with Gwen. I mean, it is gone, but I have still had some nausea and no appetite. I am not sure how much of it is hg or just having a baby. So, I hope I get feeling better soon. My feet and ankles have also swelled up a ton, but they said it was okay for now. It kinda creeps me out since I have never really swelled up before.

Well, here it is.... oh, and I have been having some paranoia (lol sp?) lately about putting too much info online, so I am going to delete the birthstory/pic link in a week or so.

Lovely birth story, even admiss the not so wonderful details, and pain, and problems you had. It was nice to read a birth story that was very heartfelt and emotionally truthfull! Pain can really mess up your mental state! Glad you had a better time of labor after getting the meds and they benefited you greatly, as that is what matters most!

Emily, thanks for sharing your story! I appreciate hearing all the details -- good and bad. And I'm so glad everything turned out okay after Truman's first few scary moments. I'm so glad the Stadol helped you ... this is available to me in the birth center (IM only, and if I want anything more agressive, I have to transfer to L&D), but I've heard such mixed things about it. People either seem to love it or hate it. I love getting gas at the dentist (one time it was a little too strong, and I was actually bummed when they finished the filling :LOL ), so I'm wondering if I'd be one of those people who found it helpful (if needed). Ah well, I guess I'll just have to see how things go.

Thanks for the wonderful story, and congratulations again. Also glad to hear you're at least feeling somewhat better.
