TMI question, how are you all doing down below?

This sounds weird, but I'm going to ask it. Last night I kept having a sensation that there was something in my vagina. After a while of it not going away I began to worry. I though what if it's a foot/hand or a bit of cord or bulging bag or water or whatever. So I reached in and everything felt pretty normal, I mean nothing that isn't supposed to be there. I still don't know what the sensation was. But it felt bigger than the last time I felt so I looked in the mirror at it. Then I noticed that everything down there is so exaggerated. Different from it's normal state. Like bigger, more swollen, even the openning to my urethra looked crazy! I know that changes are normal and that there are more fluids being shifted that way but I never looked my last pregnancies. Holy cow! Anyone else notice this? It's insane! Or am I just weird :

Kimberly, You are just weird.

Just teasing, I have been having that sensation sometimes of fullness (over fullness is more like it), I hate to be TMI but maybe some uhhh, climatic release would help you. It did me

I had a lot of chafing and discomfort, but turns out I had a yeast infection. I feel much better now that it's cleared up, and things seem normal now (relatively speaking). Haven't done a visual, so can't really comment on that, lol, although I know things are more swollen than when I'm not pg (they've been that way for a while).

As birth approaches, it seems like lots of women feel pressure down low ... could that be it?

Ditto - I've been (ahem) larger than life down there for some time

It's strange. Even my patch of pubic hair seems bigger. Everything is, like you said, larger than life. Almost comical really.

LMAO

I was trying to check my cervix in the shower the other day and I squatted low and it felt as though the walls of my vagina came out a little bit.... everything seems swollen and LARGE down there. :LOL Hell if I can't laugh I would probably cry.

Sooo with you!

This happened to me the first time around. But this time I actually looked with a mirror (checking out a weird blood blister thing) and was SHOCKED. Seriously - ewwwwwww! It's like a grandma hoo hoo down there! :LOL

I haven't looked down there in a while, everything is um, larger than normal and kinda scary looking. Initially consulted MW who assured me it was all normal.

LOL @ grandma hoo-hoo. :LOL

bs"d

Of course the public hair gets bigger, the skin is just stretched out more. I will check myself out later. :LOL I haven't been able to see much for a while. I don't even know if we have a hand mirror.

I've been feeling swollen there for a few months. The last week I've been feeling pressure also and sometimes deep inside light pain, like something is pulling back (hard to explain).

I just figure it is all preparation for the impending birth.

Me ... its hard enough to manuover below in the shower, I'm too chicken to look down below to see if it has changed.

I don't want to know what the OBGYN or MW will be witnessing LOL. Ignorance is bliss at this point. HAHAHA

LOL the other day, I told dh that it felt like the baby was doing patty cake in my vagina. It was the weirdest sensation. I was reading in Dr. Sears' Pregnancy book last night, and it even mentioned that sensation!! It is bizzaro. :LOL

In a way, I'm really glad everything looks so big and crazy. I can much more easily imagine a baby coming through there than the way I looked before. Let's hear it for She-Ra!

So true! The way I normally look it is like no way can a baby come out of there, but looking at it now it's like, OK, I can see it, I can see a baby coming out of there. The whole area is like looking at a different person. LOL @ granny hoo hoo
