I am on everything probation!

When dh or I find we have bought too many of something (usually books) we put ourselves on "probation" until we use up what we have. Well, I think I am on everything probation

I have a huge pile of books I haven't read yet, more personal hygiene stuff than anyone ought to, etc.

So I can buy food and toilet paper. That is it.

Oh, and I can have the new Harry Potter book. :LOL

I am very proud of myself. I went to Target today to return something and all I bought were some garden boots for dd that were desperately needed (her other ones are completely split) and had been on my list for ages. The finally had them marked down 75%.

The old boots went directly in the trash.

Everything probation is going well. I brought a car trunk full to the thrift and got store credit for toys at the consignment shop. Since I was turning in a lot of dd's stuff I told her she could get something. She chose a video at the consignment shop and a cassette tape at the thrift. I can live with that.

I am going to bring more stuff in next week.
