Can anyone recommend a book on training a puppy that I might be able to find at my local library?? TIA! :

A must read before getting a dog is The Other End of the Leash. It not about training, but how to communicate with your dog. It will make training more effective and easier.

I was also going to recommend the Monks of New Skete - it's wonderful.

Don't Shoot the Dog was recommended to me by my sister. I will have to read it though before actually recommending it. I fear that it might be to Ezzo-ish for me. lol
