Unusual cycle (for me). A few questions.

Hello. Dh and I have 1 beautiful 19 month old son, and have been trying for a few months for #2. Here is the situation. I was on bcp until 3 months ago. My first cycle off of them was around 35 days, the next 29 days, and this one is going on 39 days. I took a hpt on Monday, and it was neg. Wed/Thurs I was in the restroom every hour because i was sure my period had started because of the cramps I was having, but nothing. I have never had cramps like this with nothing coming out. The cramps are not severe or anything, but fell like normal cramps would for me if I was having a period. I am giving it until next Monday the 25th, and then will I guess take another hpt. If it is still neg and no signs of my period, then should I call my Dr? Before I ever started bcp years ago, my cycles were always 28-29 days.
Just thought one of you had maybe experienced this before.

BCP's

Currently my sister and my aunt are going through this... it turns out they both had follicular cysts...which are common after going off BCP's...usually they burst on their own...but sometimes they can get really big and cause a lot of pain....if you continue to have pain I would go see your Dr. and perhaps request an U/S just so you can see whats happening in there...just my 2 cents of course... I hope you are just having an extra long cycle and will get back to normal soon!!

I never thought about cysts. Maybe I'll call sooner than later!
