sitz bath herbs (x-post)

I posted this in the August EDD club too

what herbs are best to use for soothing sitz baths PP? I had some I ordered premixed last time (w/ ds) but ended up with a c/s and didn't use them and they seem to have gotten thrown away. I can't for the life of me remember what herbs they were. (except comfrey) plus I'd like to mix my own this time.

what do you suggest?

there are many mixes locally I like to use manzanita instead of uva ursi similar properties- from the same family (heath) , lavender flowers, yarrow or plantain( which ever I can get freshest), and currently I am using melliot ---I have stopped using comfrey except for tears that need to heal fast (in which case only leaf tea no more than 3 days)

another mix may contain - sheperd's purse, and garlic - I think that with plantain or yarrow no need for the shepherd's purse and the lavender will substitute for garlic but can be used together.
