I had a beautiful baby girl early Saturday morning. I went into labor after a long and relaxing day visiting with two of my best girlfriends and going for a walk with dh and ds. I then decided that I absolutely had to weed the sidewalk in front of our house, which I did, and when I came inside, my contractions were serious enough to stop me in my tracks, so we started timing them. 5 1/2 hours later, after 10 minutes of pushing, our little girl made her appearance. No tears, no meds, just pure adrenaline! It was wonderful and peaceful. We had a good experience with the hospital, and our midwife was perfect. Now relaxing at home and enjoying Sophie's tiny perfection!
