Freezing OAMC egg question

If I am making a casserole to freeze and that casserole is held together with an egg & buttermilk "custard".... do I freeze it uncooked or cooked???

I've never frozen egg/buttermilk combos, but I do make an egg/milk/bread/cheese casserole that freezed great uncooked, but gets a weird texture if I freeze it cooked.

EFmom - Do you then defrost the casserole before you bake it? Or stick it in the oven still frozen?

I usually let it defrost at least for a few hours.

I freeze quiche cooked, which is mainly egg and regular milk.
