Pulsatilla ?

I've been taking pulsatilla 30c 4 tabs under the tongue twice a day. I read that I should take it for 2 weeks. This Sat, it will be 2 weeks. Should the baby have turned already if the pulsatilla was going to work at all or is it more likely to happen after I'm done w/ the treatment?

Any advice or anecdotes on the use of pulsatilla?

Hey Nora!
It's Su..
I don't have an answer to your question. I didn't even know you could take pulsatillia for breech presentation, but I just wanted to say HI!

Sorry if this has already been mentioned (in spankies or somewhere), but have you tried chiropractic yet? Also, my midwife swears by doing headstands in a pool.

Hi Su!!!

I'm going to talk to my doula about seeing her chiro DH today. He knows the Webster. I've heard of handstands in the pool, but I don't know of a pool where I could safely do them (where DD was out of the way). I think our wading pool is not deep enough. LOL.

You can also try accupuncture

there has been one study on moxa that showed it to work.

I would have expected the homeopathic to have worked by now

do you have any gallbladder issues going on? sometimes a baby will be breech because of a warm gall bladder---

I'm not sure about gallbladder. Would I be having pain or any other symptoms?

If you're due early September, that makes you 34/35 weeks? I think this may be too early for baby to turn. Are you having any strong BH ctx?

I'd stop taking the pulsatilla unless you get a series of strong, regular braxton hicks- when it would definitely be indicated. I'd do lots of visualisation, lots of positioning (as ever, try the Spinning Babies site) and as you said, water- not just handstands, plain swimming will ease the gravity as well. If you can keep baby out of your pelvis, s/he has more room to turn.
For me, the pulsatilla worked well but it was definitely indicated (it's pretty much my constitutional remedy, and also my eldest child's constitutional remedy- it works for me for PMT and on his teething as well) which makes me wonder if it's the wrong remedy for you. Possibly, it could be worth consulting a homoeopath. I'd try accupuncture, and take it from there.
Don't panic- it's still very early, and you have LOTS of time.

a gall bladder problem is something you would usually feel so I am guessing that it is not what is going on---
